Try to play along with me in this 6 MINUTE PLAY ALONG video. This video focuses on Swiss Flamadiddles (Displaced) and is based off of an INVERTED PARADIDDLE. We start off by learning how to apply the SWISS FLAMADIDDLES to the snare drum and then we work our way to breaking the hands up (Right hand on hi-hat and left hand on snare). Next we engage the 16th note, displaced FLAMADIDDLES with the integration of independence exercises where we add a different rhythms underneath the FLAMADIDDLLES with the hi-hat food and kick drum foot. This exercise will develop both hand technic and dexterity as the patterns are played leading the right hand and then the left hand. This will build and open up rhythmic ideas you have never been able to play before. Enjoy!
